- Large blind spots in the field of vision: When a forklift truck is backing up, the driver's line of sight may be blocked by cargo, body structure or other obstacles, resulting in pedestrians not being seen in a timely manner.
- Backing up too fast: Drivers are too fast to brake in time during backing up, increasing the risk of collisions with pedestrians.
- Complex environment: Warehouses, docks and other places may have complex environments, with narrow aisles, crowded cargo stacking, insufficient lighting and other factors that increase the probability of collisions.
- Lack of safety awareness: Pedestrians do not follow safety regulations, do not walk on sidewalks or in designated areas, and cross the forklift operation area at will, increasing the risk of accidents.

The Radar-Based Proximity Warning System utilizes FMCW millimeter-wave radar with a 30-meter range to accurately detect moving objects. To address blind spots while reversing, it triggers audible-visual alerts and can automatically limit speed or brake to prevent collisions.

The system triggers tiered alerts when people or vehicles enter the preset warning, alert, or braking zones around the forklift. With a configurable detection range of up to 30 meters, it simultaneously tracks and outputs data for up to 8 targets. Designed for all-weather operation, it performs reliably in rain, snow, fog, haze, and dust while effectively minimizing false alarms and missed detections.

Access Authorization: Driver identity is verified via IC card, fingerprint, or QR code scanning to prevent unauthorized vehicle operation.
Precise Detection of People/Vehicles/Objects: Utilizing FMCW millimeter-wave radar with a 30-meter range, the system accurately detects the distance, speed, and azimuth of moving targets.
Collision Prevention & Auto-Braking: When a person or vehicle enters a hazardous area during reversing, the system automatically triggers braking to stop the forklift.
Overspeed Warning & Limitation: If the forklift exceeds the preset speed limit, an alarm is activated and the vehicle’s speed is restricted until it returns to a safe range.
Applicable to: Forklifts, loaders, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, etc.
