Founded in 1986, Angie's Yeast is a national key high-tech enterprise specializing in yeast, yeast derivatives and related bioproducts, and is the first yeast company in Asia and the second largest in the world. At present, there are more than 20 forklifts in Liuzhou factory, which are mainly engaged in the handling of raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products, as well as unloading and other forklift operations.

In the development of the enterprise, Angie's Yeast focuses on technology for development. In order to improve the safety and management efficiency of the forklift fleet, the Liuzhou plant installed the Waytronic Security AI forklift collision avoidance system on the forklifts. Q：Why do factories need to install "AI Forklift Collision Avoidance System"?

From the driver's point of view, our unloading area, usually the traffic and the flow of people are relatively large, coupled with the fact that sometimes the goods of these factories are also relatively large, the front view is not good, and then want to know whether there are pedestrians around, the driver needs to keep going to the left and to the right, and probe out of the car body to look at it, in which case it may not be very safe. After installing this product, an alarm is made, and the driver has a judgment of whether there is a pedestrian (pedestrian monitoring function, helping the driver to judge the blind spot pedestrians and alarm), which is quite good, and I think it will be safer.

Q: As a safety supervisor, why does the group emphasize on forklift safety?

Our company is now a group company, and according to the requirements of our headquarter, we need to promote the intrinsic safety management of equipment. This is because only through intrinsic safety can we reduce the occurrence of accidents. Forklift is equivalent to a special equipment, in the piece of special equipment, personnel must be licensed, even so, there may be forklift collision.

Sometimes people may be distracted, inattentive situation, if the side and someone in the activities, then the forklift may also collide with people, vehicle accidents, the consequences are more serious.
